Caldera

Caldera is the main Pacific port of Costa Rica. Cruise ships used to arrive there too, until the opening of a cruise port in the city of Puntarenas. On the other side of the port, the beach offers good waves for sufers, although tourists have to look out for pickpockets.

There is a ridge where paragliding is becoming popular.
