La Paz Waterfall Gardens

La Paz Waterfall Gardens is a private park than contains 4 waterfalls, a butterfly farm, a restaurant and other natural attractions. It is located in Varablanca in the province of Heredia. The park is named for the last waterfall, called La Paz.The main attraction are the 4 waterfalls that can be seen along a trail beside the river. The trail is very steep, has many steps, but it is well maintained and very safe. There is a bus that will take the guests back after seeing the last waterfall down river, so there is no need to worry about coming up again all the steps.
The butterfly farm is one of the largest in Costa Rica, with a lot of species of butterflies, plants and exotic flowers.
