Playa Dominical

Playa Dominical is the closest beach to the town of San Isidro in the southern part of Costa Rica.

The town attracts mainly foreign visitors who come to surf. The beach begins at the river Baru, down to the small fishing village of Dominicalito. Surfers must beware of the strong sea currents.

On the way to Dominical from San Isidro, check the Nauyaca Falls: they are one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica.
