I have been living in Costa Rica since I was 1 year old.

I love traveling through Costa Rica´s tourist destinations. These are some things I have done:

drove to the Atlantic coast to Puerto Viejo to see the sunrise, and drove back west to Punta Leona in the Pacific coast to see the sunset in the SAME day. It was to celebrate the the end of the academic year.
hiked to the top of the Miravalles volcano and down again in one day.
slept on the sand in Flamingo beach, suffering from mosquito bites throughout a whole night, and swam in the sea at midnight (the water is warm here!).
hiked in the jungles of Braulio Carrillo National Park to a hidden waterfall.
hiked into an abandoned village (Bajo de la Hondura) inside Braulio Carrillo National Park.
hiked from Cartago up to the summit of Irazu Volcano National Park (it took 7 hours!).
spent 2 weeks far away from civilization at Playa Pavones.
