WikiCostaRica started as a project to compile all available information of Costa Rica into one place and show it to the world in a well-defined, clear, and useful way. While the task is daunting, we felt that somehow, somewhere in the internet, there should be a repository for all this information. This can be very useful for tourists, retirees, investors and anybody who has an interest in our beautiful country.

WikiCostaRica is based in Costa Rica, and conceived by CostaRicans. The main web page went online on December 21st, 2006.
